Founded by Mental Health Advocate and Certified Life Coach, Danielle Ennis
For over 10 years Danielle has worked extensively with young people, their families and a variety of professionals (teachers, social workers, mental health nurses, therapists, Youth Offending Teams) specialising in high risk services and personal development.
From charities to education to housing, she has undertaken a multitude of roles empowering people to change their lives, whilst also being a forerunner for best practice in each place of work.
Through her time within the community, Danielle developed her own concepts and tools. However she also began to realise that the general public would benefit from having such information - about topics such as mental health - more readily available.
She wanted to normalise topics such as mental health, emotional intelligence and healthy relationships in education, in order to make support more accessible to the everyday person. Danielle's theory was that improved earlier intervention and general education would help more people before they had to reach crisis point.
And so, the idea of Lighter Load was born, also reminiscent of the saying - ‘It is not the load that breaks you down, but the way you carry it’. Lighter Load exists to provide tools to help individuals through life with more insight, personal health and effectiveness.
Danielle leads a small team of passionate women who facilitate workshops on different life-skills and support an online community centred on well-being, growth and ambition.
